John and I went with John's family to Utah last weekend. It was John's Spring break and the Crisps wanted to go to the Carl Bloch art exhibit at BYU. John's 27th birthday was on Friday. Now we are the same age again. I love it when I'm not older than him! We went to Tucanos Friday night with my family, then came back to my parent's house and opened presents and had Crumbs cupcakes! I think John had a great birthday. He is in love with Jimmer, so he was happy to get some BYU apparel and the Jimmer Sports Illustrated issue! On Saturday morning we met up with my parents and went to BYU. It was really neat to see all the beautiful art. We had lunch and just ran some errands. Saturday night we went over to my brother's house to watch the "Jimmer show" (BYU basketball game). It was really fun to see my family and just hang out. After the game, the girls did a little shopping. On Sunday morning we left to come back to CA bright and early around 6:45 California time. The weather was horrible and Sunday traffic always sucks coming back from Vegas. Even thought it took us almost 14 hours to get back to our apartment, it was worth it to be with my family a little longer. I love my family and it was so wonderful to see them! We also went to go see my Grandpa who's not doing well. Poor guy. I love him so much!
