I haven't done an outfit post in a while. Duder gets dressed up every Sunday in church clothes. I've been loving putting bow ties on him lately. Here is what he wore today!
We went to Times Square tonight with John's little brother and his two buddies who are staying with us. We ate at Shake Shack. Seriously the best hamburgers ever! I want another one right now! So good! Anyway, we had an awkward experience on the subway ride home. So this crazy lady came up to Weston and was like "Oh my gosh he's so bald!" She had a real thick Brooklyn accent. Then she starts rubbing his head over and over. John and I just looked at each other like Oh geez, how awkward. Then she's asks how old he is, what's his name is etc... We tell her and then she grabs his hand and squeezes it. Then she says "He won't let go." Then she goes to the middle of the subway car and starts her schpill on how she's homeless and lost her job and not to judge her and she needed some money. Then in the middle of her talking she says again how bald he was. Then she comes up again and kissed his hand! Yikes! Way over the line. Finally she gets off the subway. Then like 3 people say do you need hand sanitizer? Yes please. It was hilarious. We are too nice to tell strangers to not touch our kid. It's one thing to talk to him or smile at him, but kissing his hand and rubbing your dirty homeless hands all over his head are not okay. Haha. Good times on the subway. I'm excited to travel in the privacy of my own car soon. Here are a few pics from today.
Weston is 6 months old today! I added some with him just in his diaper so you can see his small little body too. The lighting in our little apartment is always bad, so some of these shots are poorly lit. It is going by too fast. He has learned to sit up now, which is great! He doesn't do it for a long time, but he's getting better at it. He eats solids twice a day and is sleeping great! He's finally getting some hair! His first tooth has broke through. He has been very fussy lately and now I know why. His 6 month doctor visit is next week. I'll post his stats then. We love you little buddy!
Duder looked extra dapper today at church so I took some photos of him. Then I decided to get some of all of us in our church clothes. We don't have very many of all of us together. I don't totally love the ones of all us, but I love the ones of Weston. BTW, John's mom made the cute blanket!
I was having fun today taking some videos of Weston. In the first one he is trying to feed himself his bottle. He can kind of do it. The second one, I got him laughing on video. Please excuse my annoying voice. I love it when he laughs! If you click on the settings button you can change the quality to HD.
We had a great Easter. We went to church and are having funeral potatoes, ham and orange rolls for dinner! I'm so excited. We also had some yummy treats! We are so grateful for the Savior.
