Celebrity Sightings Round XXVII...

Today I served this table of two moms and their kids. As I was taking their order I kept looking at one of the mom's twin baby girls. They looked so familiar. I suddenly realized that they looked like the twins from Modern Family: "Lily." Its just one baby in the TV show, but they are actually played by twins that switch off. I wasn't 100% sure, so I asked their mom. She said they were! I asked her if they got recognized a lot. She said they surprisingly do for baby actors. She was very nice and the babies were adorable! Their names are Ella and Jaden Hiller. It was so fun to see them in person! Modern Family is one of my favorite shows, so I was happy.

Celebrity Sightings Round XXVI

Today Kourtney Kardashian came in with her boyfriend Scott. I'm not really a fan of hers, but it was fun to see her. It would have been funner to see Kim. Haha! I dropped off their food. She got a Thai Crunch salad and he got a Chinese Chicken salad. They were pretty polite; although on the show, Scott seems like the biggest brat! Maybe its just for good TV? Who knows? They tipped their server $8 on $32. Not bad, but not good. Do you guys watch their shows or like them?

Today I served Cedric the Entertainer and his family. He was nice, but not the greatest tipper. Oh well. Fun to see him still. I guess Kortney Kardashian walked through the restaurant today as well, but I didn't see her.

Celebrity Sightings Round XXIV...

Today I got cut early and decided to stay and close for another server. I sure am glad I stayed today because ASHLEE SIMPSON came in! It was so fun to see her. She was with her mom and a friend. She was rockin' her new super short Blonde hair. I personally don't like it, but she is way cute still. She ordered the 1/2 BBQ chicken chopped salad. They left 20 bucks on an 80 dollar check. That was really nice of them. She is super skinny too. I wish her little boy Bronx was there. He is the cutest. Anyway, It was fun to see her!

Today there was another random C-Lister celeb at work. Today it was Lil Mama. She is a rapper. She had that hit "Lip Gloss." I just know her from being one of the judges on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. I guess she was a little stoned or something. She was acting a little strange. She was opening some presents by herself at the Bar. I asked if it was her Birthday. She said yes and I wished her a Happy Birthday. When she left I told her bye. She said Thanks. Have a blessed day. Ha.Ha. Too funny...

Celebrity Sightings Round XXII...

Yesterday at CPK I saw this old lady eating. She looked familiar and I thought I had seen her at work before. I heard her say something and then I knew who it was! It was the old lady from The Wedding Singer: Ellen Albertini Dow. Her voice is so distinct. She did that funny Sugarhill Gang rap in the movie. Like I've said before: I see the most random celebs. Celebrity Sightings Round XXI...

Last night I went to my friend from work's house. She had invited a ton of people over for game night. I am standing there talking to everyone and all of a sudden Chuck Liddell walks in! I was a little star struck but played it cool. He is a UFC fighter. One of the best... John loves him! He was also on Dancing with the Stars. Too bad John wasn't there with me. He was with his girlfriend Heidi. I recognized her from CPK before. She used to date Jose Conseco. I remember her being really rude when I served her. She was nice to me last night. (I'm sure she didn't remember me). Anyway, it was fun to be at a party and have him there just chillin'. I talked with him a bit and had a fun time. It was funny because he was sporting multi-colored polish on his toe nails. I told him nice toe nails. He said his 12 year old daughter picked them out for him. Fun times...

I enjoyed last night's performances. Not the best night of dancing but I had a few favorites. What numbers did you like?

Before I left work today I saw Kendra Wilkinson. She is best known for being one (of many) of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends. She is super lame and I don't like her... but it's still fun to see celebrities. I also just want to document all the celebs I've seen here in California.

Scott Baio came into work today. He was with his wife and 3 yr. old daughter. He is best known for being in Charles in Charge from the late 80's. Did any one else watch that show besides me? I used to totally watch that show back in the day. Such random celebs come to my CPK. It's dang funny to see all the random dead-beat celebs. I love it!

Celebrity Sightings Round XVIII...

Today at work I look outside and see KEVIN FEDERLINE smoking outside. I tell the host to seat him in my section, but he came in and sat at the bar with a blonde haired girl and another guy. Dang it! He ordered the Spin Dip and the 1/2 BBQ Chicken Salad. His friends shared the new Baja Fish Tacos. I guess he left like $10 dollars on a $50 check. Not bad, but come on- you are a celebrity and have money K-Fed! She did say he was nice. He is kind of a loser, but he does look better than he did. I guess he was on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club and has lost most of the weight he gained. It was fun seeing him. I dropped off his Spin Dip so I could take a good look at him. HAHA... The manager told me that this past Saturday night Michael Jackson's kids came in with Jermaine Jackson! Man- I wish I would have seen them! I would say that it was a good day at work!

Embarassing Moment...

So yesterday I'm at Home Depot getting more packing boxes and I look over to my left and see Laila Ali. If you don't know who she is, she is Muhammad Ali's daughter! Anyway, I have seen her several times before at CPK and I served her one time before. As I'm leaving, I say " Hi Laila!" She looks up at me then is like "Hi, How yah doing," then immediately looks down. She was like annoyed that I said hi to her. Then again, Who do I think I am to be saying hi to her. Like she remembers me...I immediately felt stupid and left the store! HAHA...I'm such a dork! Well heck, at least someone recognized her right? She's not that famous! ; ) She should have been flattered to have been recognized. Okay, maybe not...

Celebrity Sightings Round XVII...

John and I were eating some dinner at Baja Fresh in Woodland Hills last night and I look out the window and see this big black guy messing around with his package! I told John to look at him cause it was kind of funny. John says, "I'm pretty sure he's famous." He did look pretty familiar to me too. John thought it was Faizon Love and sure enough it was! He got back into his Mercedes and drove away a minute later. He looked so huge in his little car. He was in such movies as Blue Crush, Elf, The Replacements, and a TV show called The Parenthood. It was fun to see someone kind of famous as it's been a while for me.

The other day Cary Elwes came into CPK. I'm not gonna lie...I didn't recognize him but they said he was in GLORY. Then I looked him up on I.M.D.B. and saw that he was in one of my favorite old movies: THE PRINCESS BRIDE! He played Westley! How funny is that? I totally had a crush on him when I was like 8! Then the other day John was at Ralph's in Malibu and noticed Frankie Muniz from Malcom in the Middle, right in front of him in the check out line. Too funny. We see the most random people...

Celebrity Sightings Round XV...

Yesterday at CPK Pat Sajak of Wheel of Fortune came in with his son. He had to wait for about 10 minutes to be sat because we were on a wait. I was not his server, but I got a good look at him. He is very short and he was wearing a light blue lame looking short-sleeved polo shirt! GO WHEEL OF FORTUNE! I'm not gonna lie, I haven't even watched Wheel of Fortune since I was little, but heck...I guess He's still got it? Maybe? HAHA!

Celebrity Sightings Round XIV

Okay so you're probably thinking again? Well yes, it happened AGAIN! Yesterday John's parents came here to come to John's Mock trial court at Pepperdine. It was so awesome seeing John and his partner Jeff in action! They did so well! I was very proud of them. Then his parents took us all to the BeachComber cafe in Malibu. As soon as we get there John says "There is David Hasselhoff!" I look over and sure enough he is at one of the tables with some red head. He was well known for being in Baywatch. It's funny cause we have this inside joke in the Crisp family about his meltdown video. Geoff (John's dad) always says "This is a mess." HAHA...We get to our seat and are like 4 tables away from him! He was totally plastered and he's totally a "has been" but anyhow, he used to be pretty famous... We tried to sloothly get some photos of him. I took one with my iphone which is the one at the bottom, but it's kind of far away! He is behind the poll...If you look closely you can see him! Man it's fun living here! Celebrity Sightings Round XIII

When I got to work this afternoon around 12...I look over at this party of like 10 and think hmm..they look really familiar! Sure enough it was the band PARAMORE!!! I dunno if you guys know who they are but Johnny and I love them! I was really excited to see them up close. We went and saw them in concert about two years ago in SLC. They are a fun band! They have 2 new songs on the Twilight soundtrack. The lead singer Hayley is the only girl in the group! I decided not to bother them...but they did leave their server a $22 dollar tip on a $118.00 bill! Not too shabby...Wow! Another fun celeb sighting at CPK! I guess seeing all these celebs kind of makes up for hating going to work otherwise? : )

Celebrity Sightings Round XII

Today at work Heather Locklear came in and ate with her friend! She looked amazing and I dropped off her food at the table. As I set down her Margherita pizza she was like "Oh My gosh! This is huge!" I was like "No worries you can do it!" "It just looks really big because it is on a thin crust! " Then I couldn't help myself. I said "I'm a big fan! You are so gorgeous!" She was like, "Thanks you are so sweet!" HAHAHA. I'm such a dork. She was very polite and very pretty in person. She left her server a $10.00 tip on like $37.00 check. Not too shabby! Then today I was told that Brandy (The singer) came in two nights ago and she forgot her wallet!!! Her whole meal had to be comped! What a loser! Too funny! Good times at CPK!

Celebrity Sightings Round XI

So today one of my last tables was Katee Shean from So You Think You Can Dance Season 4! This is one of my favorite shows and she was the runner-up last season! She was very nice and she was with her friend Cody who works on the show as well. I told her I was a big fan and asked what she was up to. She said they just finished the dance tour. I asked her if she watched Dominic from Season 3 of SYTYCD who's currently on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew. She said Yes and that He was her next door neighbor in her apartment!!! I was so excited to meet her. I guess the other day Kourtney Kardashian came in but I only saw her from the back and Yesterday Brian Mcknight came in again with his family! Man! I feel so lucky to be living here in Cali! It's so fun for me to see all these famous people! Yipee! ; )

Valentine's Day was great this year! To start the day off I went to He's Just Not That Into you my friend Sarah at the AMC Promenade in Woodland Hills. As I was waiting in line I see SAMANTHA from America's Next Top Model! I get stoked and immediately tell Sarah! She loves and watches the show as do I. She was standing right in front of us in line to get the tickets. I could only snap a pic from my iphone and it's from behind but she looked great! She was dressed all funky and her hair was much longer than when she had cut it really short on the show. I guess it's been almost a year since she probably filmed the TV show. I was a big fan of hers from the beginning so it was fun to see her! She ended up being the runner-up this past season. She also is from right here in Woodland Hills! The next one is Shanna Moakler from Dancing With The Stars and she is married to Blink 182's Travis Barker. They come in all the time to CPK and she happen to be there the other day with her daughter. They tipped the server well and she seems really sweet. Hopefully I'll be working next time Travis comes in as well! ; )

The movie was so funny and good and then later that day John made me Baked Ziti (which was so yummy!) and I was going to make him Molten Chocolate Souffle cakes but I had just made Chocolate Chip cookies for our kids in our Young Woman's and Teacher's classes. We ended up being too full for the cakes so I told him I would make them for him this week! Then he actually offered to watch:

Can you believe he actually offered to watch that movie? I know he hates "chick flicks" and just did it make me happy! How sweet is he? It was a casual but very fun night. My mom had sent me these hearts on a string decorations to hang up so I surprised him by hanging them over the bed for him to see when he walked in the room! Kitty loved playing with them the most. Poor thing still has her cone on and had a little reaction to the stitches so I got her some antibiotics today! It was a great day and It couldn't have been better! Celebrity Sightings Round VIII

So The other day I see Sharon Osbourne walk into the restaurant. I immediately recognize her and run to the back hoping that she would be sat in my section...Well it just so happens my favorite host, (who knows to sit celebrities in my section if at all possibly) was working. Sure enough she gets sat in my section. She was with another lady who had an irish accent and they were waiting for her another lad. They both ordered the CPK Cobb salad. The gentleman ordered the BBQ chicken chopped salad just after he arrived. They were very polite and I never let her know that I knew who she was. I just decided not to bother her. At one point when I brought her some more lemons on the side for her iced tea she said..."Oh bless you," with her british little accent. It was cute. The bill was a pretty good amount so I was hoping for a good tip. The gentleman paid and He ony left me about 15%! I was very dissapointed...then just after they left I had a table of 7 teenage girls who all paid with cash. They asked me if the gratuity was included. I Said no. (if there had been 8 of them I could have added gratuity.) Then after I left I go up to the table to grab my check presenter and it was all heavy. That is not a good sign! So I open it up and look inside and there was like 4 dollars worth of coins and a bunch of bills! I counted up all the cash and realized they had only left me about $1.50 for a tip and their bill was $96.00!!! I was so annoyed! Stupid girls! Don't go out to eat if you can't afford the tip! Man...serving is cool sometimes...especially when celebs come in; but then you have lame people that come in and are so stingy. I guess that's LIFE! ; )
