SeaWorld Trip

Last Saturday John and I went to SeaWorld in San Diego with John's family! It was so much fun! We started off the day having "Breakfast with Shamu!" Which meant we got to watch the trainer and the whale practice and tell us interesting facts about all the whales, while we had a delicious buffet style breakfast! Haley: I ate other stuff other than cereal and I was chilly, so I used the napkins as a blanket. I know, that sounds kind of gay. HAHA! Then we went to the Whale show and all of the other shows! Including: A dolphin show, a Sea Lion show and a pet show! So much fun to watch and get splashed on! Animals are the greatest! We even spotted a tiny baby bunny on the grass! We ended off the day with going on the ride "ATLANTIS." It was a roller coaster that has a big drop toward the beginning and it's like you're going down a waterfall! Then a second later you go into a cave and your whole cart gets lifted up and turned a little then you're off onto the next big hill! It was such a cool, surprising ride! It was a great way to end the fun day we had! As you'll see in the pics, Geoff sat in the front by himself and ended up getting soaked! ; ) Thanks again Geoff and Debbie for taking us! I highly recommend going there if you ever get the chance! Here are some pics from the day...

P.S. Carlyle is 99% all better! YEAH BUDDY!!

Old People!

So the other day John and I decided to check out this hole in the wall called Weiler's Deli. It's apparently a Jewish deli. We get inside and notice a couple of booths filled with old people. We thought nothing of it. Then our server comes up and was about 55 and real sassy! You could tell she had worked there for half her life and knew everyone and everyone's family who walked in the door! We asked her which soup was the best. She said "You've never tried our soup?" We told her we hadn't! She's like "Oh! I'll be right back!" She immediately goes to the back and then brings us a sample of ALL the soups! It was so hilarious and very thoughtful! As we looked around, the deli was getting full. Full of ALL OLD PEOPLE!!! It was the funniest thing! We were the only table under the age of like 60! John and I were laughing so hard but trying not to be rude. He pretended to be taking a pic of just me but really he wanted to show how many old people were there! Please excuse my no-makeup and the poor quality from the iphones. Needless to say, the food was awesome and we'll definitely be back!

Celebrity Sightings Round XV...

Yesterday at CPK Pat Sajak of Wheel of Fortune came in with his son. He had to wait for about 10 minutes to be sat because we were on a wait. I was not his server, but I got a good look at him. He is very short and he was wearing a light blue lame looking short-sleeved polo shirt! GO WHEEL OF FORTUNE! I'm not gonna lie, I haven't even watched Wheel of Fortune since I was little, but heck...I guess He's still got it? Maybe? HAHA!

PS. My husband is hot...

Egg Dyeing & Kidden's second surgery!

We had a great Easter this year! We went down to John's family's house again this past weekend. We went with them to church and heard John's dad speak. He did a great job! Then we had a delicious traditional Easter dinner. We got there Saturday night and we dyed eggs; which I haven't done in like 10 years! The next morning on Easter we had a great breakfast and there were Easter baskets with yummy See's chocolate in them! Thanks Crisp Family! I didn't bring my camera but I took a couple of pics with my phone.

Monday I dropped off Kitty at the vet to be declawed. It was a sad day for us but she needed to get it done! The vet's office is watching her for 72 hours to make sure she is okay. John and I went and visited her tonight! She is doing pretty well. She has an e-collar on and blue leg cast-like bandages! It was awful to see her like that. We felt so sad as we were leaving. She started to meow like I've never heard before because she knew we were gone! It broke out hearts! I get to go pick her up tomorrow after work. We have missed her so much! We'll see how she does when she gets back. I hope she does okay.

Kitten ate What?

So we went to John's family's house this past weekend and watched General Conference with them...well most of it! HAHA...We were all having so much fun it was hard to pay attention...not to mention how funny Scott (his little brother) is! Anyway, we brought Carlyle with us because we left Friday night and would be there for two + days...They have two other cats and a dog so it worked out. In fact, Kuma, (their Shiba Inu) ran after her and barked at one point and she peed herself a little! HAHA...poor kitty! Anyway, When we get home later that night I was cleaning out her litter box as usual and I happen to look down at her business and see something coming out of the end of her poop! (Sorry I know this is disgusting!) It looked like metal or something so I tell John to come and check it out. He's all "No! I don't wanna come look at cat poop!" So I laugh and I tell him to come again. He finally comes. Sure enough there was a needle and thread inside her poop! Green thread to be exact! ; ) She apparently swallowed a needle from John's Mom's craft room! It was stuck onto a memo-board type thing on the wall that had green thread tied to it. Carlyle though it was a toy or something! Shoot I dunno why in the world she would eat a needle! That's about as appealing as eating dog crap! Anyway, I can't believe she ate a needle and thread!!! Crazy little stinker! I was going to take a pic of the poop cause it was so interesting but then again I thought I'd spare you all! She barely eats anything at home besides her cat food & kitty treats, so that's why I was so shocked! She loves to get into mischief! As you can tell from the pic at the top! She loves to lay in our bathroom sink! We are lucky it was not worse and didn't get stuck on the way out!

On a side note, Vivica A. Fox came in to CPK again today and I'm dorky enough that I went up and was like "Hey Vivica! How ya doin'?" Who does that...I said it like we were best friends too.... I asked her if she remembered me from last time she came in and she was like " Yah!" and then pointed to the table we had our last conversation at. "How ya doin' girl!" She is so rad and super nice! I guess our new manager Sarah knows her form the Tarzana CPK. Sarah was like yah we go way back. I was like are you kidding? She's like No, She is a loyal CPK'er...Too funny!
