Snapshots of Easter weekend.

We had a lovely Easter weekend with John's family. We had the traditional Easter meal and had some lovely Easter baskets waiting for us in the morning. I felt so loved. Easter is a special time of the year to reflect on the Savior. I am grateful for family and to be able to spend time with them. We even saw a darling little bunny our in their backyard on Easter morning. He was so cute! On Easter Sunday night I flew to Utah to be with my family for my Grandpa's funeral. Pics from Utah coming soon. Hope you all had a great Easter weekend.

This is me holding my parent's bunny Pepper while I was in Utah. He is such a sweet little guy.
 Easter baskets from John's parents.
 Beautiful flowers.
 Funeral Potatoes.
 The reason for the Season.
Some cute Easter cards we all got.
I made some Easter baskets with Easter candy I bought on sale after Easter. Haha!
All pics taken with my iphone.

Happy Easter!

I saw this on a friend's facebook page and thought I'd post it on here today. I love this video. So fitting for Easter Sunday. My sweet Grandpa Hassinger passed away on Friday and is with his sweetheart now for Easter. I loved him so much. I'm grateful that he is out of pain now. We will miss him. I'm flying to Utah tonight to be with family and attend his funeral. Because of the Savior's sacrifice I know that I can see my Grandma and Grandpa again. Hope you all have a wonderful Easter with your families.

Tipsy Baby video.

My sister Haley sent this to me this morning. It's a little inappropriate, considering the baby appears to be drunk, but obviously she's not. Such a cute baby. So funny. Have a look see.

Nom Nom Truck and Skittles.

I  know Carlyle is on here a lot. Sorry ya'll. One day when we have kids she might take a backseat. Haha. Here is a cute lil' video I forgot to post of her playing with my Skittles. Please ignore my annoying voice on the video. Can you tell which TV show we are watching? Last night we went to eat at the Nom Nom truck. They were in Sherman Oaks. They serve tacos and sandwiches. They were on that show The  Great Food Truck Race. Did you watch that? They won every competition except for the last one. They came in second place. John had been dying to go and try them. It was a fun adventure, but I wasn't that impressed with the food. John loved it though.

Celebrity Sightings Round XXVI

Today Kourtney Kardashian came in with her boyfriend Scott. I'm not really a fan of hers, but it was fun to see her. It would have been funner to see Kim. Haha! I dropped off their food. She got a Thai Crunch salad and he got a Chinese Chicken salad. They were pretty polite; although on the show, Scott seems like the biggest brat! Maybe its just for good TV? Who knows? They tipped their server $8 on $32. Not bad, but not good. Do you guys watch their shows or like them?

I suck at blogging...

I know I haven't been blogging as much lately. I just haven't been inspired to blog about anything, or just haven't had anything to blog about. I hope you don't lose interest in our blog. I will try and update this thing more often. I designed a new header and menu bar recently. I wanted something that looked a little more professional. Anyway, since this is the only form of a journal I have, I though I'd do an update post and some recent iphone shots of Carlyle, since she is my fur baby. We went down to Orange County to watch General Conference with John's family last weekend. It was so nice to be with them and listen to all the wonderful, uplifting talks from our Church leaders and the Prophet. We went to dinner on Saturday after the Priesthood session at Cheesecake Factory. It was dank! Sunday morning we had homemade scones and Honey Butter. It was so good! Other than that, I haven't been up to too much. I was sick with a cold, but am feeling much better now! Tonight we are going to BJ's and then renting a Red box movie. John is as busy as ever preparing for finals. He graduates Law School on May 20th! I am getting really excited to move to New York! I have been looking online for apartments. I think Brooklyn is where we have decided to live instead of Manhattan. It is still close to NYU and cheaper than living on the island. It's a short commute when we do want to go into the city. Carlyle can't wait to be a Big City Cat! I'm loving this beautiful weather and am looking forward to the Summer. I hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for stopping by! P.S. If you have a Pinterest account, let me know and I'll start following you. It's amazing! Check it out if you don't know what it is already!

This is funny, she got inside Kuma's dog cage. They hate each other. Shen then proceeded to rub her scent all over it, just to make him mad. Check out the video below! (Make sure to click it to 720p) So funny!

 Isn't she the cutest?
