5 Year Anniversary

John and I celebrated our 5 year Anniversary on Saturday. We first went to IKEA and had lunch. Weston loved eating the meatballs and mashed potatoes! We looked around for a while then came home. Later that night we all went to Lupe Tortilla. We love that place! It's an amazing tex mex place. Weston loved eating the beans, chips, guacamole and tortillas. He was pretty good at dinner. We looked for a rom com to rent but couldn't find one. We came home and put the baby to bed and just chilled. It was nice to go out. I'm grateful for all the things we've done, places we've seen and lived, and for the great man John is. Best decision ever to marry that one. Happy 5 years John!

FOUR YEARS!

Today is our 4th Anniversary! I can't believe how time flies. We didn't do much during the day. I tried looking for doctors and was turned down by about 6 or 7 because I'm too far along. I was starting to freak out. Finally I found one that would accept me. I set up an appointment for next Thursday. I'm not sure if I'll like her or not. She got some bad reviews online, but I'm grateful I found someone that will take me. Tonight we went to the Riverwalk Bar and Grill at the other end of Roosevelt Island. It was really good! I got  a cup of Chicken Noodle Soup to start. John got ribs and waffle fries. I also got these Sheperds Pie dumplings. They were so yummy! Then for dessert we got these friend cheesecake rolls and Vanilla ice cream. Oh my goodness they were yummy! I snapped a few iPhone shots of the food and us. Please excuse my lazy look with my hair in a pony tail. It was just one of those days. I am so grateful for John and to be married to him. We are blessed and I am looking forward to having Duder Jr. with him. We look forward to our adventures in New York. I mean there is a hurricane supposedly coming here on Saturday night and Sunday. You can't get more exciting than that. Haha. 

Best Anniversary Ever!

THIS YEAR WAS THE BEST ANNIVERSARY BY FAR! JOHN INFORMED ME WE WERE NOT DOING ANY PRESENTS THIS YEAR AT ALL. I WAS RELUCTANT TO NOT BUY HIM ANYTHING, BUT I OBEYED... ALL I DID WAS MAKE HIM A CARD. WHEN HE GOT HOME FROM SCHOOL HE HAD SOME GERBERA DAISIES FOR ME! LITTLE STINKER... THEN HE HAD A PRETTY BOX ALL DRESSED UP FOR ME. HE TOLD ME TO OPEN IT RIGHT AWAY. I OPENED IT UP AND WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED AND SURPRISED! HE HAD GOTTEN ME AN APPLE IPAD!!! I WAS SO HAPPY BUT MAD AT HIM FOR GETTING ME ONE! HE TOLD ME IT WAS FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY/MY BIRTHDAY/CHRISTMAS ETC... I JUST LAUGHED. I SUDDENLY FELT REALLY LAME HANDING HIM THE CARD I HAD MADE FOR HIM. HE REMINDED ME THAT LESS THAN A WEEK AGO HE HAD GOTTEN A NEW MAC LAPTOP FOR SCHOOL. I FELT A LITTLE BETTER. ANYWAY, IT HAS BEEN SO FUN PLAYING WITH IT. WE HEADED TO SPUMONIS FOR DINNER. WE GOT SOME YUMMY GARLIC BREAD, GNOCCHI, AND I GOT CHICKEN PARMESAN. IT WAS DELICIOUS. I HAD THE BEST ANNIVERSARY AND FELT VERY LOVED!

Here's to 3!

Today is our 3rd year wedding anniversary! It's gone by so fast! I am so grateful for John and all he does for us! I'm so glad he's back home with me! He also just started his 3rd and final year of law school and I couldn't be more proud of him! Tonight we are going to dinner at Spumoni's. Cheers to the number 3! Love you babe!

Anniversary Pictures

John was all dressed up from a video interview for a job for Next summer he had, so I put on a skirt and we went to Cafe Montpeliano right across the street from us! They immediately brought our veggies and this dijon honey mustard dip that was decent. John ordered a coke with ice and I ordered a tap water with ice. (You have to ask for ice here.) When they brought out the drinks there was like 3 ice cubes in each drink! It was so funny. I asked them for a side of ice and they bring me out this metal bowl of ice with a spoon! It was cool, but strange! We ordered garlic cheese bread as an appetizer, which was delicious btw! We then ordered this cheese and spinach tortellini with a rosemary cream sauce to share. It was THE BOMB!!! The best pasta I might have ever had! Then we ordered a chocolate fudge cake to go. It was a great second year anniversary! Thanks babe! (P.S. sorry folks! August 25th, 2007!

Today is our TWO year Anniversary! I'm so happy to be married to John and to be in this wonderful little place they call London! Cheers! Hopefully later tonight we can get out to a nice dinner or what not…

P.S. Today is the day again that John has his first day of his second year of law school! Good luck to him! I hope he can even study when there is all this goodness around us!

Happy One Year Anniversary Babe!!!

Today is a special day because John and I got married one year ago today! John also starts law school today at Pepperdine! I wanted to publicly thank John for being a great hubby! Marriage has it's ups and downs...but It is all worth it! At the end of the day having someone there for you and that is your best friend is the best thing possible! It is great to be in love! We celebrated our anniversary last Sat night. First John took me to The Cheesecake Factory by our house. It was very yummy! While we were at dinner he surprised me by giving me what I've wanted for a long time and what he shouldn't have gotten me... He gave me a diamond anniversary band to go along with my wedding ring! I was so shocked and happy! I just made him a card and promised him Rock Band in the future! HAHA...He is the best. Then we went to The Rocker. It was pretty funny...Don't pay full price for it. Rainn Wilson (Dwight) made it pretty funny...If he wouldn't have been in it it would have been pretty lame! So we had a wonderful anniversary! Tonight John will be at school till late and I have to work a night shift! But I am grateful we got to celebrate last Sat and I am thankful for a wonderful, loving husband! I am truly blessed...
