Carlyle...

John's little brother sent this pic of Carlyle to me. I am missing her so much. She was my little buddy! She is getting used to living with John's family, but still harassing their dog. haha. She is quite the little stinker at their house. She is a completely different cat at our house. Anyway, John's mom was going to bring her when she comes to see the baby in early November, but now we are thinking we won't get to see her until Christmas! We have no one to take care of her while we're gone during Christmas break. It's so sad. My heart aches to see her. I hope she knows we didn't abandon her! Luckily she is in good hands! Hopefully we can bring her back with us after Christmas. Although that will be tricky with a baby, all of his stuff, and all of our stuff. Hopefully it'll work out. We miss her! Love you Carlyle!

Carlyle's New Bed!

So I was at Wal-Mart yesterday and happen to see this cute little play cube/cat bed. I thought the fabric was so cute. Carlyle's bed was getting pretty nasty, so I picked it up for her. She loves it. I'm surprised Wal-Mart had such a thing. Usually they don't have cute stuff in my opinion... P.S. Packing sucks! I hate it so bad! I'm slowly starting so I don't have to do it all at once. It's hard because I have to decide which stuff to pack and which stuff I might need in New York. Being pregnant with a sore back/tired makes it worse too. Also, John is gone M-Sunday from about 7-11, so I'm on my own until he takes the Bar. Poor guy. He is such a dedicated studier. I feel bad for him. I can't wait until the Bar is over! At least my favorite show SYTYCD is on tonight! Yippee!

Carlyle the hunter!

Carlyle loves to catch bugs, moths and spiders. She won't give up and until they are hers! The other night while I was watching TV she spotted a moth by our lamp. She was so determined to catch it. It was hilarious! I whipped out my iphone and caught most of it on video. It's kinda long, but if you watch and listen carefully you'll hear the noises she makes when she sees the moth. (1:18)  It cracks me up. I tried really hard not to laugh. This little creature brings so much joy to me. Love her...

Nom Nom Truck and Skittles.

I  know Carlyle is on here a lot. Sorry ya'll. One day when we have kids she might take a backseat. Haha. Here is a cute lil' video I forgot to post of her playing with my Skittles. Please ignore my annoying voice on the video. Can you tell which TV show we are watching? Last night we went to eat at the Nom Nom truck. They were in Sherman Oaks. They serve tacos and sandwiches. They were on that show The  Great Food Truck Race. Did you watch that? They won every competition except for the last one. They came in second place. John had been dying to go and try them. It was a fun adventure, but I wasn't that impressed with the food. John loved it though.

I suck at blogging...

I know I haven't been blogging as much lately. I just haven't been inspired to blog about anything, or just haven't had anything to blog about. I hope you don't lose interest in our blog. I will try and update this thing more often. I designed a new header and menu bar recently. I wanted something that looked a little more professional. Anyway, since this is the only form of a journal I have, I though I'd do an update post and some recent iphone shots of Carlyle, since she is my fur baby. We went down to Orange County to watch General Conference with John's family last weekend. It was so nice to be with them and listen to all the wonderful, uplifting talks from our Church leaders and the Prophet. We went to dinner on Saturday after the Priesthood session at Cheesecake Factory. It was dank! Sunday morning we had homemade scones and Honey Butter. It was so good! Other than that, I haven't been up to too much. I was sick with a cold, but am feeling much better now! Tonight we are going to BJ's and then renting a Red box movie. John is as busy as ever preparing for finals. He graduates Law School on May 20th! I am getting really excited to move to New York! I have been looking online for apartments. I think Brooklyn is where we have decided to live instead of Manhattan. It is still close to NYU and cheaper than living on the island. It's a short commute when we do want to go into the city. Carlyle can't wait to be a Big City Cat! I'm loving this beautiful weather and am looking forward to the Summer. I hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for stopping by! P.S. If you have a Pinterest account, let me know and I'll start following you. It's amazing! Check it out if you don't know what it is already!

This is funny, she got inside Kuma's dog cage. They hate each other. Shen then proceeded to rub her scent all over it, just to make him mad. Check out the video below! (Make sure to click it to 720p) So funny!

 Isn't she the cutest?

Flower Pillow

I got this gray flower petal pillow a little while back and thought I'd show you it. I love how Carlyle is checking it out. I guess she approves?

My favorite pic of the little stinker!

I think this is my favorite shot of Carlyle ever! Her face just looks so sweet in this. She is my little Valentine this year... well besides John of course! ; ) Do you have any fun plans for Valentine's Day? I'd love to hear about them!

I like this one better...

Liz and I made necklaces again tonight. I think I'm getting the hang of it now... I think this one turned out better. I love Apple Green. I also had to throw in some cutie pie picks of Miss Carlyle. Now on to making different styles...

Carlyle Photo Shoot...

The other day Carlyle was just being extra cute, so I snapped some shots of her with my phone. I also made a silly Holiday card with a faux Santa hat. Merry Christmas! I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday with your families!

Candy Cane Lane.

Tonight for "Family Home Evening" we went to Candy Cane Lame, I mean Lane in Woodland Hills. It was just okay this year, but we had fun. A lot of the houses go all out and decorate with lots of twinkle lights and decorations. We got doughnuts and milk and drove around the different neighborhoods in the rain. I took a couple videos of the houses with my phone because it was too hard to get good shots with the camera because we had to keep on moving because there was always someone behind us. I'm so excited Christmas is this week! I just wish the rain would stop. It kinda sucks doing laundry every day out in the rain! Haha.
