Baby Crisp is a...

For those of you who didn't see my facebook post, the baby is a BOY!!! We had an ultrasound today at a different doctor's office for a complete ultrasound exam. I will be 19 weeks on Thursday. They checked everything to make sure it was okay. Everything looked good! He was moving around a lot, so I was nervous he wouldn't reveal himself. At the end, he finally did! I was so happy! John was over the moon with excitement! We don't have a name finalized yet, but are really happy. We went and got a few new clothes right after to celebrate. As you can see from the ultra sound picture, he is definitely a boy!

Belly shot.
These are the new outfits from today...
These are clothes he has already received from grandparents. Spoiled already! Haha! Luckily most of them worked out not knowing what we were having yet! ; )
Can you tell I love Hanna Andersson sleepers?

John's Graduation Weekend.

John has officially graduated from Pepperdine Law school! So happy and proud of him. He has worked really hard. My mom, dad and grandma came here late Wednesday night to spend some time with us before graduation. On Thursday we hung out all day and went to the Biggest Loser ranch that is right around the corner from our apt. here in Calabasas.  It was cool to see where they work out all season. Friday morning was graduation outside at Pepperdine. It was a hot day with a bit of a breeze. It was a really pretty setting for a graduation. We all put on sunscreen, but still managed to get fried. Haha. Luckily the sunburns didn't show up till after we took some pics. I sat behind John with up the other grads so I could be his "hooder." There is this hood thing you place behind their head before they go up and get their diplomas. It was nice to get a close seat. Right after we all met up at the park next to our apt. and had lunch. It was so nice to have a lot of family there to support John. It was a great day! John starts Bar prep classes on Monday at Pepperdine. I got pics from John's parents, pics I took, and pics from my dad. As you can imagine, a lot of photos were taken. I'll try not to post too many. Heehee...

I got Mother's Day Presents This Time...

Why you ask? Well that's because I am PREGNANT! Fun huh? I am 16.5 weeks today. I had my 3rd Doctor's apt. this morning. I am a little bummed out because I thought I was going to be able to tell what the little bean sprout's gender was today, but baby Crisp did not cooperate! Oh well. I heard the heartbeat and all is well. I should find out within 2-3 more weeks what we're having. I waited so long to announce it, because I thought it would be funner to announce it all at once; "I'm pregnant and it's a .....", but today I decided I was going to announce it either way. Here is a pic of what John got me for Mother's Day, some ultra sound pics and a belly shot from last night. I am feeling great, just tired, and the baby is due October 20th! We are very excited to be having a baby in New York City! Have you noticed how many pregnant women there are right now? There are 9 alone in my ward! What the heck?

11 weeks.

Farewell Grandpa!

Most of you that read this blog, don't know my Grandpa, but I thought out of respect I'd post some pictures from his funeral last Tuesday. It was a beautiful service. I'm glad I was able to fly to Utah for it. I loved hearing everyone's memories of him. He was well loved. He was buried in Orangeville, Utah next to his sweetheart who passed away 15 years ago. He was a wonderful, sweet man whom I'll miss a lot! I love you Grandpa.

This is from the back of the program. What a handsome couple!
This is a shot of all my cousins, (Minus my brother Seth) oldest to Youngest. I am the youngest...
Eating all the delish food after the funeral.
My silly nieces and nephews and Grandma.
It was very windy and snowing at the burial. So freezing!
 The Pallbearers.
 Saying their last goodbyes...
My dad and his two sisters.
This was a lake nearby. You can really see just how windy it was!
A wide shot of the Cemetery.
