Family Photos.

We wanted to get our family photos taken sometime in the next month or two for our Holiday card. I knew of a photographer that I wanted to take our pics. She is my friend's sister. Anyway, I contacted her to see what her availability was in the next couple of months. She said she was all booked until January! I was so disappointed. The next day she said she had a last minute cancellation for the following day at Rice University. At first I told her no because I thought it would be too difficult to get outfits ready etc. I told John about it and he said if we can figure out what to wear he was game. I asked her if the spot was still available and she said it was! We went shopping that night and found a few things that would work. I was stressed about what to wear. I think we pulled it together and luckily the rain subsided and we were able to still have the shoot. Weston was running around like crazy and Cam fell face forward onto the pavement out of the little chair and threw up all over, but luckily we calmed him down after a few minutes and were back at it. Poor baby.  We felt so bad! We just couldn't catch him in time! Luckily he landed on his pot belly and didn't scrape up his face. She did so great and was very patient with the kids. It was near impossible to get a smile out of Weston. Luckily she got a few and just in time for his 2nd birthday! We are happy with how they turned out. Our favorite one is the last one! Weston Turned Two!

My little buddy turned 2 yesterday! The night before John put together his Strider balance bike for him to see when he woke up. He came downstairs and said bike, bike, bike. Ha ha. I think it's going to take him awhile to know how to ride it, but I think he'll love it when he does! The boys and I stayed home from church cause we were still a little sick. After John came back from church we let him open a few presents from his Grandparents. He is still getting the hang of opening gifts. We were able to FaceTime both sets of Grandparents so they could see him open the presents they gave him. The grandparents really appreciated that. He got some fun stuff. Lucky kid. We didn't have a party or anything this year, but I made him some yummy Pumpkin Cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I think he liked the frosting at least! Ha, Ha. I think we will start parties for his next birthday. Here are pics from Sunday. 

Stats.

We took the boys to their well checks like 9 days ago. They did great! Cam's 6 month check was a little late, and Weston's a little early (10 days) so I'd only have to go once. Here are their stats. Love these two crazy kids!

 

Camden 6 Month Photo Shoot.

This kid is half a year old now! I can't believe it! He's getting so much more personality. I love seeing him grow. He has mastered sitting up and has started to scoot and crawl. He gets up on his knees and launches himself wherever he wants to go. He is also not interested in the least with baby toys anymore! He only wants to play with Weston's toys. They are constantly fighting with each other for toys. I am trying to teach Weston the sharing concept. Ha. Ha. His Dr. appointment is soon, but I think he weighs 19 pounds! He's such a big boy! Weston weighed that at 12 months! He and Weston both are in size 3 diapers and he wears 6-12 month clothes. He doesn't have any teeth yet, but I'm sure any day now he will be getting some. Weston had to be in some photos too. He had total bed head and they were making hilarious faces. Love you Chunk!
