The Emmys 2010!

Did you all watch the Emmy's last night? What a great show! Great dresses and wins! I thought Jimmy Falon was a funny host. John and I were stoked that Modern Family won 6 Emmys including best comedy! I'm glad GLEE won some as well... Who were you routing for? Here are my favorite dresses of the night:

I know this one is pretty strange, but I loved January Jone's futuristic Versace dress. (Maybe I just think she's cute?)

This one is by far the WORST dress of the evening! What was Anna Paquin thinking? Her stylist should be fired! (Maybe I just think she's ugly?)

Canvas Makeover and Carlyle.

Remember when I made that circle canvas painting? Well I liked it enough, but I hated how it had a White background against our White walls. So one night I just decided to paint over it Yellow and then add some White circles to it. I like it better this way against the White walls. Oh and I found Carlyle a new polka dot collar for a dollar... It's so cute on her.

Best Anniversary Ever!

THIS YEAR WAS THE BEST ANNIVERSARY BY FAR! JOHN INFORMED ME WE WERE NOT DOING ANY PRESENTS THIS YEAR AT ALL. I WAS RELUCTANT TO NOT BUY HIM ANYTHING, BUT I OBEYED... ALL I DID WAS MAKE HIM A CARD. WHEN HE GOT HOME FROM SCHOOL HE HAD SOME GERBERA DAISIES FOR ME! LITTLE STINKER... THEN HE HAD A PRETTY BOX ALL DRESSED UP FOR ME. HE TOLD ME TO OPEN IT RIGHT AWAY. I OPENED IT UP AND WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED AND SURPRISED! HE HAD GOTTEN ME AN APPLE IPAD!!! I WAS SO HAPPY BUT MAD AT HIM FOR GETTING ME ONE! HE TOLD ME IT WAS FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY/MY BIRTHDAY/CHRISTMAS ETC... I JUST LAUGHED. I SUDDENLY FELT REALLY LAME HANDING HIM THE CARD I HAD MADE FOR HIM. HE REMINDED ME THAT LESS THAN A WEEK AGO HE HAD GOTTEN A NEW MAC LAPTOP FOR SCHOOL. I FELT A LITTLE BETTER. ANYWAY, IT HAS BEEN SO FUN PLAYING WITH IT. WE HEADED TO SPUMONIS FOR DINNER. WE GOT SOME YUMMY GARLIC BREAD, GNOCCHI, AND I GOT CHICKEN PARMESAN. IT WAS DELICIOUS. I HAD THE BEST ANNIVERSARY AND FELT VERY LOVED!

Here's to 3!

Today is our 3rd year wedding anniversary! It's gone by so fast! I am so grateful for John and all he does for us! I'm so glad he's back home with me! He also just started his 3rd and final year of law school and I couldn't be more proud of him! Tonight we are going to dinner at Spumoni's. Cheers to the number 3! Love you babe!

John showed me this the other day and we couldn't stop laughing! The subject matter is awful and not anything to joke around about... but this guy cracks me up. They even made his interview into a song. Pretty ridiculous, but funny indeed. Enjoy...

LA and Hollywood Towne!

I picked up my mom and my sister Haley on Monday afternoon at LAX airport. We had the best time this whole week! We did a lot of shopping, driving, talking and hanging out. We went to some awesome Modern stores and some cool Vintage and Thrift stores. We went to the Farmer's Market, Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica and Robertson's Blvd in LA. John moved home on Wednesday night so that was nice. On Thursday afternoon my mom helped me clean off our dirty patio and we did a little mini makeover! It was so nasty and unattractive before. I think it turned out well! Thanks mom! We ate at Woodranch BBQ That night. It was so yummy! It was so nice to just see my mom and sister and not have to work! Thanks for everything fam! I had a great time! (There is a lot of random pics from our week. I am too lazy to put them in order...)
