A few new things

When I was in Utah I did a little shopping. I added a new yellow tree branch pillow and a bird picture that I had been lusting over for awhile. My mom got me this cute little white pot with some grass to put in it. I think it makes it feel so "Springy" now. I changed out a couple other little things recently as well. What do you think?

Utah Road Trippin

Last Thursday we headed to Utah for John's little sister's BYU graduation. All of my family lives there, so it was cool to spend a couple of short days with them and attend her Graduation. She graduated in Exercise Science. We are really proud of her! She is thinking about going to Nursing school next. My new nephew Ty was born a few months ago and I got to meet him while I was there. He is the cutest little thing! I hung out with my mom and sisters and we went shopping, ate yummy food and talked. We also went to this cute store called Alice Lane in Orem. If you want to see all the FABULOUS home decor shots from that store check on my Design Blog. Friday was the actual graduation at the Marriot Center, then we headed up to Temple Square to eat at The Roof restaurant. The views were absolutely amazing! I have never seen the Salt Lake Temple look so beautiful! It was a great short trip and I love Utah!

Scott Baio came into work today. He was with his wife and 3 yr. old daughter. He is best known for being in Charles in Charge from the late 80's. Did any one else watch that show besides me? I used to totally watch that show back in the day. Such random celebs come to my CPK. It's dang funny to see all the random dead-beat celebs. I love it!

This might be inappropriate...

In ode to the iPad that just came out, that I totally dig, here is a funny, slightly inappropriate skit that they made a few years back on Mad TV that makes fun of an "Apple iPad." Sorry in advance if this offends you. Here's to one day getting one of these bad boys!

Easter Weekend

What an incredible weekend! John and I drove down to Mission Viejo to be with John's parents. I truly felt the spirit as I listened to General Conference. On Saturday night we met up with John and his dad after they went to the Priesthood session at P.F. Changs. Changs always has dope food! On Sunday we checked out our Easter baskets and watched conference again. John's mom made a yummy traditional Easter dinner. When we were almost done there was a HUGE earthquake! The whole house just rocked back and forth! It was a trip! We all felt sea sick! I have never experienced anything like that before. It was in Mexicali, Mexico and at the epicenter it was a 7.2! That is crazy! There have been a lot of earthquakes lately and I'm glad there was no damage here. I can't say the same for Mexico! It was such a cool weekend. Hope your weekend was great too!

Happy Easter!

This Easter weekend is EGG-stra special because it falls on the same day as General Conference! I am really looking forward to it! Hope you all have a great Holiday!

I didn't want to torture Carlyle by putting real bunny ears on her, so I just photoshopped some on her. Heehee... I just couldn't resist!

Here is a beautiful short little video my friend Marie posted on her blog. What a great reminder for us to remember the real meaning of Easter.
