Baby Shoes...

John's dad gave Baby Crisp some adorable tiny Cole Haan shoes. They were so cute I had to show you! They are so well made. I can't wait to put him in these! Thanks Grandpa Crisp! He is spoiled already...

Carlyle the hunter!

Carlyle loves to catch bugs, moths and spiders. She won't give up and until they are hers! The other night while I was watching TV she spotted a moth by our lamp. She was so determined to catch it. It was hilarious! I whipped out my iphone and caught most of it on video. It's kinda long, but if you watch and listen carefully you'll hear the noises she makes when she sees the moth. (1:18)  It cracks me up. I tried really hard not to laugh. This little creature brings so much joy to me. Love her...

Happy (Pre) Father's Day!

Well John is not technically a father yet, but it's getting close and I got to celebrate Mother's Day this year so he should too. Yesterday we went to IKEA and then got Krispy Kreme doughnuts. There is not one close to us, so for us it was a real treat! I didn't really get him much. I made him a card in Photoshop and got him this spatula he had wanted. Haha. I also made him a coupon for a Blu-Ray, CD or book of his choice. I am so grateful he is going to be the father of baby Crisp. I know he will be a great dad. I love you John! I'm am also so blessed to have two great dads in my life! I am one lucky girl!

Celebrity Sightings Round XXVII...

Today I served this table of two moms and their kids. As I was taking their order I kept looking at one of the mom's twin baby girls. They looked so familiar. I suddenly realized that they looked like the twins from Modern Family: "Lily." Its just one baby in the TV show, but they are actually played by twins that switch off. I wasn't 100% sure, so I asked their mom. She said they were! I asked her if they got recognized a lot. She said they surprisingly do for baby actors. She was very nice and the babies were adorable! Their names are Ella and Jaden Hiller. It was so fun to see them in person! Modern Family is one of my favorite shows, so I was happy.

This is their best commercial...

Wal-Mart commercials always suck; as do Old Navy ones... but this one made John and I laugh out loud. You've probably already seen it, but if not, you're welcome. ; )

Baby Bump.

I really feel like I've popped out a lot in the last few days. My black work pants that I fit into on Friday didn't wanna button this morning. I guess I'm only doing comfy maternity pants from now on. Haha. I'm pretty sure I felt the baby kick this morning as well. It was such a trip! It felt so weird and kinda hurt a little. It was amazing though. I'm glad to know that's he's a live and well.

Did anyone watch the Bachelorette last night? What is up with Bentley? He's such a jerk! John has met him a couple of times when he lived in Utah. He is LDS and went on a mission etc... I'm sure he's not active anymore, but why did he even come on the show? I guess they edited it a lot to make him look meaner than he already was, but still. I can't believe Ashley was so into him. He said some really mean stuff about her behind her back. It's funny cause John kept coming in to watch it when he was on camera. What was up with that Roast date at the Comedy Club? Why did they think that would be a good idea? It was lame. Anyway, lame show, but entertaining to watch. Who are your favorites so far? I don't think I have any yet.

Have you all noticed Playlist.com won't automatically play songs anymore? I guess it's good cause that was annoying for some of you, but now there are commercials in between songs. So lame.

Is it just me or is EVERYONE pregnant right now? Seriously. It's dang funny.

We made the yummiest Chicken Noodle Soup on Sunday. Click HERE for the recipe. That is what's for dinner again tonight. That's all.

I went to a TV show...

I was invited to go to a taping of Ask Oprah's All Stars. I was so excited to go on a TV set and see how it all worked. A lady in my ward got a ticket and 3 extra seats. She was kind enough to invite me along. I was lucky I was able to get work off. We left at 6:45 in the morning on Tuesday. The traffic wasn't too bad. We had to wait outside the studios for about 30 minutes. We got inside and had to go through security. They told us to to go and put our cell phones/cameras back in our cars if we had them. Too bad I didn't get any pics! They checked our bags and we went through a metal detector. Then we had to wait another 45-60 minutes to go inside to get seated. It was in Hollywood at the Dr. Phil set. They transformed it for this show. It airs on the OWN network. I still am not sure the exact air date but I hope I don't miss it. Anyway, it was freezing inside the studios! Everyone was cold. It was funny, I asked one of the workers if they happened to have any blankets. He just laughed and said, "No sorry we don't." He probably thought I was an idiot for asking. They had this guy come out and pump everyone up before the show started. Then out came Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, Suze Orman, and the host Gayle King! It was neat to see them in person. The first show was all about embarrassing questions that people had for them to answer. The first question was about masturbating. AWKWARD! Anyway, there were some interesting questions and answers given. Gayle King was really funny. She messed up her lines a couple of times, and she had to re-say them. The first show took about 2 hours. Then we had a 15 minute break to go to the bathroom and grab a quick snack. We then got seated again but in a different seat than we were in for the first show. The second show was all about "Myths, Secrets and Confessions." This girl that was 7 months pregnant wanted to announce she was pregnant to her dad, whom she hadn't seen in 2 1/2 years. She wanted a "safe" place to tell him with Dr. Phil's help. Apparently whenever she calls he hangs up on her etc... So everyone was expecting fireworks when he came out. It was the opposite! He was so happy for her and her fiance and was just glad she wasn't going to have an abortion. Anyway, then later she went backstage to get an ultrasound to find out she was having a girl. It was interesting. Suze Orman talked about finances and Dr. Oz busted some myths and answered some health related questions. All in all it was really fun, but it was a long process. We weren't done until 3 or so. They filmed the audience a couple of times so I hope I make it on TV. Have any of you seen this show before or are fans of them? Too bad Oprah wasn't there! Haha..
