Happy Holidays!

We are not doing Christmas Cards this year, so just for fun I decided to make a bunch of Holiday cards featuring  Weston. Unfortunately we didn't take any family pics this year, but he is much cuter anyway. They have iPhone pics on all of them, so they aren't the best quality, but I think they turned out cute! Happy Holidays from our family to yours! 

New Tumblr Blog!

Okay I know the LAST thing I need is another blog right? Well call me crazy but I created another little blog. It's on TUMBLR and it's just getting started. I actually created it awhile back but just rekindled my desire to post pics on it today. It just has little thoughts and or pictures that inspire me. I want to be able to go back to these pics later on when I need an idea and find them there. I guess I just love blogging and have lots of free time right now! I hope you will check it out. Canvas Makeover and Carlyle.

Remember when I made that circle canvas painting? Well I liked it enough, but I hated how it had a White background against our White walls. So one night I just decided to paint over it Yellow and then add some White circles to it. I like it better this way against the White walls. Oh and I found Carlyle a new polka dot collar for a dollar... It's so cute on her.

"Keep Calm and Carry On"

When I was at Target yesterday getting a prescription for John, I saw these and about died! I love "Keep Calm and Carry On" stuff. I especially love it ever since living in London and learning about the history behind it all. How cute are these fun new things they have in their store? I think the tray is so cute with the forks as the crown. I also really like this lamp in the coordinating colors. Once again, Target scores big time!

New painting + lamp

John got me this blank white canvas for Christmas and I've been putting off painting on it because I didn't know what to do with it. I am so not an artist, and was afraid of screwing it up. You really only get one shot at painting it. Tonight I just decided to go for it. I got out my paint and decided to make something simple and abstract. I decided to try and match the colors I have in my apt. and do some circles. I think it turned it okay. I didn't get the green exactly like I wanted, and it sort of looks like a 5th grade art class project, but I'm okay with that. : ) I'm glad I attempted it and I had fun at the same time! I also recently got this lamp that I've been wanting. It's fillable, which is my favorite part. Right now I have some decorative faux lemons in it, but I may change it out to something else or add more to it later on. I love playing around with decorating!

New Website!

I was bored so I made a new website that is About Us to replace the old one I had on Blogger. It took me 2 days and a lot of tweaking, but I had a lot of fun designing it! I think it turned out well. You can check it out by clicking on the "About Us" button to your right. Let me know what you think. P.S. It probably has more info on us then you'd ever care to know but oh well... (Please be patient while it loads as it is a flash website...)
