9 Month Photo Shoot

This last month went by really quick! It felt like just yesterday I was taking his 8 month pics. Anyway, I took a TON of pictures today as usual. He's such a little busy body that it was hard to take his picture. I had to put on Sesame Street again to distract him so he'd sit still. Haha! He has been quite the handful lately. He's into everything. I let him go anywhere he wants except for the bathroom. He likes to sneak into the bathroom and get into the cat food and water. He crawls really fast and stands up to everything! If I leave the room he will fuss and come try and find where I'm at. It's so funny. His naps are so random it's driving me nuts! I never know if he will sleep for half an hour or 2 hours. He usually does okay at night but lately he's been waking up screaming at 2 A.M. I'm not sure why. I usually just feed him and put him back to sleep. It's annoying though. I think he's getting more teeth. He currently has 8 teeth. He eats solids twice a day and loves those puff cereal snacks. I just switched to size 3 diapers although they are big on him. His 9 Month Stats are: 16 lbs 13.5 ounces (3.67th%), 28 inches (40.9th%) and 46.1 cm head size. (73rd%).

Chillin' in the Pool

We got this floaty thing for Weston. He loved it! IT was so funny to see him floating in the pool all by himself. It kinda freaked me out though. Then he was trying to grab the little water fountain. It was so funny. 

New Car

I recently got a new car! I'm so grateful and happy to have it! I've never had a nice car before and I feel so fancy in it. We sold my old Honda Civic to John's little brother's friend in CA. We decided to get a more "family friendly" car. It's a VW Tiguan. It's a small SUV. It's super fun to drive. Anyway, right after we got it the car wouldn't go into park. I was so annoyed. They fixed it and brought it back. The same thing immediately happened! I was really mad this time. They took it in again and had to order a new cable for the drive shaft. Apparently there was a bent cable in the drive shaft. It was in the shop for a few days and I finally got in back the other day. It's all fixed now. It was just a weird fluke thing to happen to a new car. Anyway, here's a pic of it. Cheers to a fun car!

4th of July 2012

It's obviously a lot different celebrating Holidays once you have a kid. Haha. We had fun though. The baby had woken up at 5 AM that morning so we slept in a little late. We got to the ward pancake breakfast around 9. It started at 8, so we thought they would still have some left by 9. Wrong! All the food was gone and they were cleaning up right when we arrived. All we could do was laugh. #pancakefail. We decided to just go to McDonald's and get breakfast. When we got back we took Wes to the pool for the first time. He loved it! We put a lot of sunscreen on his fair little body and face. Unfortunately, in the pool he rubbed sunscreen in his eyes and they got all puffy, red and swollen. Poor baby. You can totally see in the pics his red eye. That evening we went over to this couple's house in the ward who have a 16 month old baby. Weston didn't really know what to think around him. It was funny. Their baby just wanted Weston to come walk around and play with him. It was nice to make some new friends but the baby started getting fussy and tired so we had to leave around 8. Sadly we didn't see any fireworks this year. We did hear them in our apartment though. Haha. Kids are so unpredictable. Anyway, here is Duder at the pool with dad and in his festive outfit from yesterday. I took a ton of pics in his 4th of July outfit while he was distracted watching Sesame Street. Haha.
