First Day of School 2016!

They both started school September 1st! Weston is in TK, and Cam started preschool! Here's to a great school year!

 

 

Father's Day!

I think John had a great Father's Day this year! In the morning he read his card and after church we headed to John's parent's house to eat dinner. Thanks for everything you do for us babe! We love you! Xoxo!!!

 

 

Easter 2015.

Easter Sunday fell on General Conference weekend this year. I put the boys in their Easter outfits the Sunday before. We dyed eggs on Saturday afternoon. Weston had fun participating this year! On Sunday, it was nice to stay home in our pajamas and watch all the talks on TV. Weston woke up that morning throwing up, so he was sick all morning. It was so sad to see his little body wrenching and throwing up so many times. Poor buddy! He was still able to have fun and enjoy his new Thomas Trackmaster Set! The boys have been playing with them non stop! Win! We made scones and homemade honey butter as we do every General Conference and enjoyed the day together as a family. Happy Easter!

Life Lately...

Now that I can blog from my iPhone I'll be more likely to blog more often. It's just so easy when it's right from your phone. Now that I don't do monthly photo shoots, I just haven't had the motivation to blog. Especially with Instagram. I feel like I put everything I want to share already on there. There's room for more here and I feel like it's important to document this time in my life. These two little boys keep me so busy, and some days are really tough, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! I'm grateful to be their mom! Here are some recent pics. Weston is 33 months and Camden is almost 15 months. 

 
 

Bath Time.

Cam loves to chase Weston around. It cracks me up. Weston also likes to chase Cam around.  It's so funny he will get down and crawl like a "baby." I love to see them playing and interacting together. Sometimes he makes Cam cry, but most of the time they are sweet together. 

Halloween 2013.

We had a fun Halloween this year! We forgot to carve our pumpkins and Weston had a tantrum

right before trick or treating, but other than that it was fun! He's more interested in running around and pushing the stroller than going door to door and getting candy. He's obsessed with asking me for treats all day though, so I'm not sure why he didn't quite understand trick or treating? Anyway, Weston was a dragon, and Cam was Batman this year. We made delicious homemade Chicken Noodle Soup and watched It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. Next year I think he'll love Halloween!

Family Photos.

We wanted to get our family photos taken sometime in the next month or two for our Holiday card. I knew of a photographer that I wanted to take our pics. She is my friend's sister. Anyway, I contacted her to see what her availability was in the next couple of months. She said she was all booked until January! I was so disappointed. The next day she said she had a last minute cancellation for the following day at Rice University. At first I told her no because I thought it would be too difficult to get outfits ready etc. I told John about it and he said if we can figure out what to wear he was game. I asked her if the spot was still available and she said it was! We went shopping that night and found a few things that would work. I was stressed about what to wear. I think we pulled it together and luckily the rain subsided and we were able to still have the shoot. Weston was running around like crazy and Cam fell face forward onto the pavement out of the little chair and threw up all over, but luckily we calmed him down after a few minutes and were back at it. Poor baby.  We felt so bad! We just couldn't catch him in time! Luckily he landed on his pot belly and didn't scrape up his face. She did so great and was very patient with the kids. It was near impossible to get a smile out of Weston. Luckily she got a few and just in time for his 2nd birthday! We are happy with how they turned out. Our favorite one is the last one!
