Mantel Decor.

My sister came and stayed with us for 9 days. It was so good to see her! It had been over a year since I had seen her. Too long... She met Camden for the first time and got to know Weston. She hadn't seen him since he was 9 weeks old. She was tremendously helpful with the kids. I am still overwhelmed and exhausted trying to figure out how to balance 2 kids under 2. It's a work in progress! Hopefully one day I'll figure it out and not go crazy every day. She helped me make a pom pom garland while she was here to spruce up my boring mantel. I think it's really fun and happy. Here's some pics of it. Thanks for coming Haley! 

Camden 1 Month Photo Shoot.

Cam is actually almost 7 weeks old now, so this post is late, but I took these when he was exactly 1 month old. He has already changed so much since then. I didn't have good lighting, and he was being kind of fussy, so I didn't get very good shots. Oh well. Maybe for his 2 month photos I'll get some good ones! ; )

I love to do side by side pics of my two boys at the same exact age, so here's Weston on the left and Cam on the right at the same age.

Camden's Newborn Photos.

We had Amy Jo come take his newborn photos at 10 days old. It was very convenient to have her just come to our home instead of going into a studio. She was very nice and patient. We took them in his nursery. It was super hot in there because we had the space heater on to make him warm and comfortable. It was nice for him, but I was sweating to death, so my hair got all matted and gross. Haha. We also had her take pics of all of us together and some with just Wes and Camden. It was really hard getting Weston to sit still long enough to snap the pics, but luckily we got some cute shots of them together. I'm so glad we hired someone this time!
