Introducing:

 photo CamdenJohnCrisp.jpg
Camden was born on April 3rd, 2013 at 1:20 p.m.. He was a whopping 8 lbs. 15 ounces! I still can't believe how big he was! More than a pound bigger than Weston. He was 20 inches long. Here is the birth story if you are interested: I was supposed to be induced on April 2nd, but all of the beds were full. They rescheduled it until the next morning. I was disappointed, but there was nothing I could do about it. The next morning John and I left for the Hospital around 6:00 a.m. We got there and I got a room and they took all my info. I got an IV and just sat around for about an hour. They started me on pitocin and then my contractions started to come.I felt a few of them, but wasn't in a lot of pain. They checked me and I was dilated to a 3. Then I got the epidural and the Dr. came in and broke my water. I was having pretty regular contractions so they didn't check to see if I was dilated more cause there is a risk of infection if you do that. They checked my cervix to see if I was  fully efaced. She said there was no lining left. They said I was ready to start pushing. The RN's had me push through some contractions then the Dr. came in and coaxed me through more contractions. It's really hard pushing when you are numb. I would take that over feeling the intense pain though. It was was so awful with Weston, that I just wanted to be in no pain and have it be less stressful. My arms were super sore and tired and I was out of breath. I felt pretty lightheaded too.I thought I was going to pass out. I think I pushed for about 45 minutes and finally he was here! It was cool to kind of feel him coming out of me. No vacuum was needed! I was so happy to finally meet him! I couldn't believe how much he weighed! He was huge! I noticed right away he was NOT Weston's twin. He looked a lot like John. They laid him on me for a minute then went and cleaned him out. Then I held him for a bit. Because he was so big and his arm was up by his face when he came out I had 3rd degree tears! Such a bummer. The Dr. took quite awhile to stitch me up. I was hoping to avoid stitches this time, but oh well. Everything else went really smoothly and he was healthy! They took him away for awhile to get cleaned up etc. John gave him his first bath while I rested awhile in the room. When I was able to actually get up and move around they took me to my recovery room. It was nice having John spend time with me. We were even able to FaceTime our family because we had Wifi! So cool! My mom and Weston came to see the new baby for a while. Weston didn't pay any attention to the new baby, but then he was interested and started cooing at him and wanting to touch his head and face. It was really sweet. He's only 17 months, so he doesn't really get it, but somehow he knows it's his baby brother. Then all he wanted to do was push the baby's bassinet cart around. He was getting bored and tired so they decided it was time to leave. About 10 minutes after they left we got a call from my mom saying she hit the median before the freeway entrance and her tires were flat! John left to go meet them and wait for the tow truck. Weston was really tired and hadn't eaten so I felt so bad. They waited for the tow truck and it towed them all the way to the VW Dealership about 40 minutes away from the Hospital. Then they drove all the way back to our home. John was planing on spending the night there at the Hospital with me, but I told him to just stay home. It's hard to get any sleep anyway at the Hospital when the nurses are coming in every 1-2 hours to check your vitals and give you medicine. Overall, this delivery was a lot easier than the first time and I had a great experience at the Hospital. That little yellow beanie was donated to the babies from the Lutheran church. I thought that was so nice. We got home Friday afternoon and were welcomed by Weston and my mom. I am so grateful she flew here from Utah to be with me and watch Weston while we were at the Hospital. She was a lot of help with Weston and even took the night shift with Camden the first 3 nights! It was great to get some good sleep for once. It has been quite the adjustment so far on our own, but luckily John has been working from home the last couple of days to help me out. We are constantly trying to get Weston away from the baby. He loves to poke his eyes and touch him or throw cars at his face. Haha. Recovery sucks, but it's getting better. I am grateful for this new sweet spirit in our homes and am thankful for his health. The only issue we've had is some jaundice. His coloring is pretty red/yellow, but they tested his blood and they said his levels were okay. We have a photographer coming Saturday afternoon to capture him at 10 days old. We love you Camden! Welcome to the Crisp family! Thanks for reading all of this if you did! ; ) HERE is Weston's very different and more dramatic birth story if you're interested.

Almost 38 Weeks.

I am getting induced April 2nd, unless he comes sooner. I can't wait! That is two weeks from today. Here are some shots from Sunday just to document how I looked. I AM SO READY TO BE DONE! I am beyond tired and uncomfortable. It's been hard chasing Weston around all day and having to pick him up and bend over etc. I can't wait to meet baby boy!

3D Baby Pics/33 Weeks Shot

I really hadn't seen this baby that much via ultra sound. I was almost too far along to do a 3D/4D ultrasound, but I just made it. It was really special and neat to see baby boy #2! It's so amazing the detail they can capture. He was very wiggly, but we were still able to get some cool shots of him at 33.3 weeks along. He is appears to look a lot like Weston. So cool. I can't wait to see him for real in less than 7 weeks! Oh P.S. Here's a side by side shot of how much bigger I am this time around. So funny to see the difference.

31/32 Weeks Pregnancy Shots

Not sure if anyone looks at this little blog anymore, but in case there is, and you don't follow me on instagram, here are the latest 2 belly pic shots I've taken. This was at 31 and 32 weeks. It's getting close. I'm getting so anxious to meet baby boy. We are going to try and get a 3D/4D Ultrasound soon. I'm so excited to see baby. We got to see Weston way more while I was pregnant. I was spoiled with him. I am so much bigger this time around. I guess that happens on your second child. Ha.Ha.

Another Little Buddy

We are having a BOY! Yes, we are having another little boy. I was a tad disappointed at first, but now I am really excited. Because they will be so close in age, I think it will be for the better. We also don't have to buy very much, so that is handy. I hope they will be best friends! Wahoo! I found out pretty early this time. I was about 15 weeks along. We just couldn't wait any longer. So happy to know. Now we just have to figure out a name.

April 3rd, 2013

Duder is getting a little brother or sister in April! They are only going to be 18 months apart! Yikes! We knew it was possible, but didn't think I'd get pregnant so quickly. It took us a long time last time. Anyway, I know it will be very hard for the first few years, but I'm hoping they will be best buddies later on. I wasn't feeling well for 3-4 weeks and that was really hard. Weston watched a lot of Sesame Street while I laid on the couch. I am still tired, but feeling much more like myself! Good thing Wes will be walking and old enough for Nursery by the time the new little one comes! I'm hoping for a little girl, but would be happy with another little boy. We might find out October 11th what the gender is if baby cooperates. I'll keep you posted!

39 Weeks!

I went to the doctor today and I am progressing in my labor. I am dilated to a 2. My due date is in 6 days, but if not, she will induce me the 27th! I am very uncomfortable, sore, tired etc...  and I would love him to come any day now. I am grateful for the experience I have had to carry this little guy. I am nervous for the big life changes for us, but feel that we are as ready as we'll ever be and that he is suppose to come into our lives. I'm scared to death of delivery, but am hopeful that everything will work out. Hurry up Duder Jr.! P.S. Sorry if you've already seen this on my facebook page...

Scenes From a Birthday...

My birthday was really nice. Most of the day was spent relaxing and watching TV. John made a really yummy dinner with Muenster Chicken, Rice Pilaf and a Caesar Salad. I got a gift card to H&M to get some post maternity clothes from John's parents and some nice cards! For dessert, we went to River Walk Bar & Grill here on the Island. We got this delicious, decadent flour less Chocolate cake with ice cream on top. It was heavenly! It just melted in your mouth! I think I will be dreaming of this dessert a lot! I had a great day and felt special! Big thanks to John for making me dinner and being so sweet to me. I am very lucky! Here are a few photos according to my iPhone...
