Weston's Blessing Day

On Sunday, January 1st, 2012, Weston was blessed by his dad at John's parent's house in California. Weston was about 9 weeks old. It was the best way ever to ring in the new year. We decided not to bless him in church because we don't really feel like we have a ward right now. We also wanted just close friends and family there. My family wasn't able to make it, but I called them and they listened in as John blessed our sweet baby. John's parents had a photographer in their ward come and take pictures. She did an amazing job capturing our special event. She took some candid and some posed pictures. I'm so happy with how these photos turned out. John did a great job blessing the baby. John's mom made his blessing outfit by hand! We were very appreciative of her time and effort. It was a great day and we are so grateful to have Weston in our lives. Weston's First Christmas

This year for Christmas we went to John's parent's house. We got there late Thursday night on the 22nd. When we got there, we were reunited with our cat Carlyle! She is so cute! It was so fun to see her! We really miss not having her in NYC with us. We took Weston to go see Santa on the 23rd. The next day we went shopping and had a yummy Christmas Eve dinner. On Christmas morning we had a nice breakfast then we opened a few presents. Then we went to church. It was actually nice to go to church on Christmas and feel the spirit. It was our first time back since I had him. Then we came back and finished opening presents. Weston got some really cute clothes! Then we just chilled and watched some movies. We had the next week to just chill. The next Sunday we blessed Weston. It was so fun having a baby this time and being with the Crisp family for Christmas! These are kind of out of order. Oops. Debbie took the nice quality ones, I took the rest with my iPhone...
