Missing London...

Remember how we used to live in London? Me too... especially because right now we have some friends that are doing the whole "London" thing. I am very much missing London right now. This is the time we were there last year and having so much fun discovering a whole new world. At least I can have fun reading about their adventures and pretending that I'm there as well... I'm excited for what they'll experience. London is rad! I found this video that is awesome! They let 100 cats loose in the IKEA London store and filmed it. What fun British people are!

Frustrated...

I just need to vent for a second. Sorry for doing it on here. Work has sucked lately because I have been cut earlier and earlier. I guess they are over on labor hours. Anyway, today was slow, so tips already were crappy. One of my last tables of the day had paid cash and I went to go pick up the check presenter after they had left the table and there was nothing in it! Luckily they were still up front sitting down waiting for a friend in the rest room to come out. I told them there was nothing in there in case they accidentally had forgot to put it in. They said they had put 42 dollars inside the bill fold. They told me that they thought someone in uniform came by and took it already. I told them thanks and said I'd figure it out. I asked all the other servers and bussers and no one had seen it. I had seen the ladies put in the cash so I know they weren't lying. I told the manager that some one had stolen my bill fold with money in it from one of my tables and luckily she comped their meal so I didn't have to pay for it all. I was still out a 7 dollar tip though... Which doesn't sound like a lot, but on a really slow day, it makes a big difference. I just can't believe there are people out there that steal. It makes me so mad. I am grateful I have a job, but come on people! SERVING BLOWS! Anyway, tomorrow is a new day. Have you ever had any one steal from you? (P.S. This isn't the first time someone has stolen from me/us. LAME!)
