Family Pictures 2012

My friend Stacy Thiot of Red Poppy Photos was coming to TX to do some photo shoots before the Holidays, so I sprung on the chance for her to take our pics! We haven't ever done professional pics before so I thought it was about time. This shoot kind of doubled as Weston's One year photos (hence the balloons) and our family photos. They were taken one week before his b day. Unfortunately it was windy and very humid, so that sucked. It was so good to see her though and she did an awesome job! There were so many that I love, it was hard to decide which ones to post! Here are a ton from our 1 hour shoot back in November. I was 15 weeks along when she took these. So glad to have them. I need to print a bunch of them off and make a gallery wall. Thanks again Stacy! Check out her website HERE, or her Facebook page HERE.

Halloween 2012

This year we had a fun Halloween. Weston was only 11 days old last Halloween, so this Halloween we actually got to dress him up. Last Wednesday our ward had Trunk or Treat. We dressed up Weston as a cowboy. We thought that was only fitting since it's our first Halloween in Texas! We wanted to buy him separate pieces that he could wear again. We didn't buy him a cowboy hat because he always pulls hats right off! It was kind of a make shift costume, but he looked cute. Monday night we carved/painted pumpkins and watched It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown like we do every year. I really wanted to paint a chevron pumpkin. Let's just say it was a lot harder than I thought it would be and it was a total fail! Haha. John carved a bat in like 5 minutes and it looked better than my painted pumpkin. We had a little pumpkin for Wes, but never got around to carving it. Last night for Halloween we didn't dress him up again cause he's too little to take trick or treating, but we did put him in some cute jammies his Grandparents gave him for his birthday. They also gave us this cute Halloween beanie, but Wes always takes hats off so it didn't last for more than 30 seconds. I snapped a few pics of him in the hat as fast as I could. Little stinker. We made the yummiest homemade Chicken Noodle Soup and watched Hocus Pocus after Wes went to bed. We had candy for trick or treaters but not one came! Crazy! Next year will be even funner when we can take Wes trick or treating! Hope you had a fun Holiday!

Months 0-12 Collage of Weston

I have combined one picture from each of the month photo shoots I took. I tried to pick photos that you could actually see the sticker on his onesie. It's so fun to see how he's changed! I am so glad I took the time to do this each month! It wasn't easy especially after he became mobile! Haha. I love my baby boy so much and can't wait to do it with the next baby boy in April!
