Early morning IKEA fun...

Last Saturday I went with my friends Sarah and Elizabeth and her son Porter to IKEA in Burbank, CA. I got work off and we drove up around 7:15 a.m.! Why so early you ask? Well, last Saturday the first 1000 people received IKEA cash between $10-$1000! We were optimistic, but didn't expect more than $10 bucks worth of IKEA cash each...We got there around 8 a.m. and there were already like 700 people there lined up in front of us! The store didn't open until 10 and so we just stood and waited. A worker from IKEA came around and told everyone what number in line they were. We were like number 720 or something like that! We got excited! We thought there might have already been 1000 people there! We were still in the game so to speak. They started handing out the scratch and win cards around 9:30 a.m. We got to the front around 9:45. We scratched all of ours off and the other two girls only got $10 bucks each! I opened mine and it was $25 bucks! I was happy! It was no $1000, but I was still happy. We went shopping in the mad house called IKEA and got some fun stuff! Here are some fun things I purchased with my IKEA cash. I am obsessed with the color green right now...Can you tell? : ) Thanks for coming with me girls! It was fun and interesting to say the least!

The massive line behind us at IKEA! This picture does not do it justice at all!

Celebrity Sightings Round XVI...

The other day Cary Elwes came into CPK. I'm not gonna lie...I didn't recognize him but they said he was in GLORY. Then I looked him up on I.M.D.B. and saw that he was in one of my favorite old movies: THE PRINCESS BRIDE! He played Westley! How funny is that? I totally had a crush on him when I was like 8! Then the other day John was at Ralph's in Malibu and noticed Frankie Muniz from Malcom in the Middle, right in front of him in the check out line. Too funny. We see the most random people...

Dream Bathrooms.

I have always loved looking at design stuff! I always watch HGTV and dream about what my kitchen/bathroom/living room could maybe look like one day. I have decided to gather some different designs I like to look at and share it on here. For this post I will do my "DREAM BATHROOMS!" Next time I will do a different room. You will see a lot of these are very Modern or Contemporary. I am in love with the Modern style "Vessel sinks." I use to like the Traditional style growing up, but over the last couple years I have realized I'm very into "Modern" design. Sometimes I like a good mix between the two styles! For example I love the clawfoot vintage tub or free standing tubs! I also like fireplaces and chandeliers in bathrooms. That makes it so glamorous! What do you think? What type of "design style" do you have or like?

I love how there is book storage on the side of this one!

I love this claw foot free standing tub!

This one is too modern for me but still cool!

Again, a little too Modern, but rad!

I adore these sinks!

Beautiful Traditionally styled bathroom!

I love this marble vessel sink!

Such a dope square sink!

I love fresh flowers in the bathroom!

What a rad shell sink!

I love the mono-chromatic color scheme they have going here!

Ahh...Rose petals!!! How romantic!
