Randomness...

Today I finally uploaded some pics off our big camera. It only took me like two weeks! HAHA... While my parents and my grandma were here we went to Old Town Pasadena. It was pretty there. We also went to John's Annual Dodge ball game at Pepperdine that I had mentioned in a previous post. Here are some pics from that day. I also took some pics of Carlyle today with some of her new toys. Is she a little spoiled? Yeah probably... but her stuff is cheap and she is the only thing we have to spoil right now. P.S. Who do you guys like on American Idol this season? I like the girl with the dreads, and that kid with the mullet. Happy 311 day!

On Saturday night we went to John's cousin Julie's Wedding. It was in Newport Beach on a yacht! I had never been on a yacht before so it was a lot of fun. I forgot to bring our camera, so the pics are limited. I took a few with my iPhone, and the rest John's mom emailed to me. It was raining when we got there, but luckily we were not out in the pouring rain. First there was the wedding ceremony, then appetizers downstairs. It was nice just relaxing while servers brought around delicious hors d'oeuvres. There was an open bar that was right up John's and my alley. We loved all the free alcoholic beverages. : ) J/K... Then we had a nice dinner and then danced away on the dance floor. Congrats to Julie and Adam! We love you guys. Adam's family flew all the way from England. They joked that they had brought the weather with them.

100% Done!

I am finally done with decorating our apt! My parents and my grandma came this week to visit John and I. My mom came with a sewing machine and we got started right away on making curtains for our living room and our bedroom. I think they turned out great! We had curtains from our last bedroom, but they didn't work how they were, so we had to add a light blue panel underneath them and sew the two panels together on each side to make them longer. I was so thankful for my mom and dad helping me out with everything! My mom has such a great eye for design. I also got some new chairs for our table. I just had been wanting to freshen up the look of our table. We found these white chairs at IKEA for a steal! They used to be floor models so I have to fix them up a little, but I love them! We also swapped the shades on our two living room lamps. I like the way it looks better now. We had so much fun going to Old Town Pasadena and Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. We also were able to go see John play in a dodge ball tournament at Pepperdine. It was nice most of the week with great sunny weather. Thanks again Mom, Dad and Grandma! We love you guys! See you in two months.
