New Coffee Table.

John's Aunt was re-decorating her beach house in Newport so she was throwing away this white coffee table. She asked us if we wanted it. I told her I'd take it home and check it out. I think I like the way it looks. It's a little tall for the space, but I think it makes it look a little more "beachy" now. There is a matching side table that John accidentally forgot to bring with him. It will look better when we replace our brown side table with the matching white one next week. Here are a few pics of the new table and a new Liberty of London lamp shade I got on clearance at Target. Cheers to free/cheap stuff! Thanks Aunt Karen!

Kat's birthday & LOST!

Yesterday was bittersweet for me. After church, we headed to Mission Viejo for John's little sister Kat's 24th birthday. His mom made some DELICIOUS sweet pulled pork that tasted exactly like Cafe Rio's! We had Pulled Pork burritos with beans and Lime Cilantro rice. She even made Lime Cilantro Ranch that tasted just like Cafe Rio's! Everything was better in my opinion than theirs! Then she made a delicious Red Velvet cake for dessert. Happy birthday Kat! Then we watched the LOST series finale. It was a really good episode and I think it ended on a good note. They didn't answer all the questions they raised throughout it's 6 years/seasons, but all in all it was good for me. I'm so sad it's over. It's one of my favorite shows with some brilliant writing. It will truly be missed! Did you like the finale?

What The Heck?

Okay so what has gotten into TV these days? I just got done watching the season finale of Grey's Anatomy. Wow! What a crazy/messed up episode! I mean, it was good don't get me wrong... but that was way too intense and stressful. Did you watch it? If so, what did you think? Too much drama, or just enough to leave you hanging?
