Carlyle's New Bed!

So I was at Wal-Mart yesterday and happen to see this cute little play cube/cat bed. I thought the fabric was so cute. Carlyle's bed was getting pretty nasty, so I picked it up for her. She loves it. I'm surprised Wal-Mart had such a thing. Usually they don't have cute stuff in my opinion... P.S. Packing sucks! I hate it so bad! I'm slowly starting so I don't have to do it all at once. It's hard because I have to decide which stuff to pack and which stuff I might need in New York. Being pregnant with a sore back/tired makes it worse too. Also, John is gone M-Sunday from about 7-11, so I'm on my own until he takes the Bar. Poor guy. He is such a dedicated studier. I feel bad for him. I can't wait until the Bar is over! At least my favorite show SYTYCD is on tonight! Yippee!

Fireworks in Malibu!

John and I had a great 4th of July! I had to work during the day and John studied for the Bar. It was a long, stressful day at work, but we had a great time that evening. We ate a fatty dinner at Islands, then headed to Alumni Park at Pepperdine in Malibu to see if we could see some fireworks that were getting set off from the barges off the coast. At 9:00 the fireworks started. We had a perfect spot with no one around us! Then 5 minutes into the show, a second show started right next to the first one! It was rad. We had the best view of 2 great firework shows! There were even more fireworks to our right that we could see if we turned to the right a little... We brought our beach chairs and had goodies. It was fun to go just the two of us. Well 3 of us if you count Duder Jr. Haha. I didn't bring our good camera, but I snapped some photos with my iphone. John took a silly video of me with his phone, and I took a video of the two shows. We missed John's family tradition of going to the Beach in Orange County for the 4th, but we had fun.
